I have many computers in my possession, many old laptops which I have collected over the years. However, I use only three computers for the most part.
Over my GNU/Linux journey I have tested and messed about with many desktop environments. My favourite tilling window manager is DWM since it is simple and does everything I need, and my favourite desktop environment would be MATE or XFCE. However, I mainly just use DWM.
If you are unaware, the display manager is what your login screen is and it allows you to have a more comfortable and clean experience. However, for myself I prefer being loaded into the TTY and then launching my desktop environment with a xinitrc.
